As I said yesterday, I like the sight of some rusty objects, although not the decay that the rust explains. So there was something about the combination of this old stained wood, rusty hinge and all the lines that really appealed to me.

Old Roller In The Grass

Rusty objects have always fascinated me. I think it all began when I saw a rusty barge when I was little - I liked it much more than all the other boats that were around! I think there is a certain nostalgic charm about this old roller partly hidden in the long grasses. It gives the impression of having many stories to tell while, at the same time, having been pensioned off.
