Last year I decided I'd like to take a photograph of the same view every hour for
twelve consecutive hours to see and record the changes in light over that period of time. So on June 23rd 2010 I took thirteen photographs from a first floor window between 7.01 and 19.01. The distinctions from photo to photo were subtle. In fact, the most significant differences were probably between the first and last pictures. Here are the results. Notice how the telegraph pole acts as a sundial, its shadow shifting around as the sun moves around behind it in the earlier part of the day.
